Contractor Terms

Terms for fire safety specialists on the platform.

Last updated June 2026

1. Eligibility

  • You are a UK-registered business or sole trader.
  • You hold valid public liability insurance (minimum £2,000,000 recommended).
  • You hold all relevant accreditations, certifications and statutory registrations required for the fire safety services you offer.
  • You comply with all applicable health and safety, building safety and fire safety legislation.

2. Profile accuracy

You must keep your company details, services, coverage areas, insurance and accreditations up to date. We may suspend profiles that contain inaccurate or out-of-date information.

3. Opportunities and unlocks

Opportunities are offered based on services, coverage and customer fit. Unlocking an opportunity is a paid action that releases the customer's contact details to you. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where the opportunity is clearly inaccurate, in which case we may issue a credit at our discretion.

4. Customer engagement

  • Contact unlocked customers promptly and professionally.
  • Do not contact customers via channels they have not consented to.
  • Do not engage with customers obtained via the platform outside the platform for the purpose of avoiding fees.

5. Acceptable use

In addition to the obligations above, you must not:

  • Misrepresent your services, accreditations, insurance, coverage areas or company details.
  • Send spam, marketing or unsolicited communications to customers introduced via the platform.
  • Contact, solicit or transact with platform-introduced customers outside the platform to avoid unlock fees (anti-circumvention applies for 12 months from introduction).
  • Share, resell, or transfer unlocked customer data to any third party.
  • Scrape, crawl or bulk-extract opportunities or platform data.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or interfere with its operation.
  • Use the platform in breach of applicable law, including UK fire safety, building safety, consumer protection and data protection law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, receive credible complaints, or harm the platform's reputation. Serious or repeated breaches may result in permanent removal without refund and, where appropriate, referral to regulators or law enforcement.

6. Data protection

Customer data shared with you is provided under UK GDPR. You are an independent controller of that data once unlocked and must process it lawfully, securely and only for the purpose of fulfilling the enquiry.

7. Liability

You are solely responsible for the work you deliver to customers. We are not a party to that contract and accept no liability for the quality, compliance or outcomes of your services.

8. Changes

We may update these terms with reasonable notice via email or in-app notice.
